Hurco VMX50

The Hurco VMX50 is our latest addition to the workshop and is a fully featured machine centre.

This machine has a large work cube (1270x660x660mm), can handle 2D & 3D Machining, and features a high speed spindle (12000rpm) and a 24 carousel tool changer.

 Sarix Micro-Hole E.D.M.
This specialised E.D.M. machine gives us the capability of machining holes from 0.05mm O thru a specified thickness, to 1.50mm O with an orbiting table we can hold very accurate tolerances on average + 2 microns. The most common sizes we are asked to do range from 0.10mm thru to 0.40mm, with the tolerances mentioned you can see the advantages over normal E.D.M. hole drill where accuracy on hole diameter is less important.

The Agie Excellence 2F wire micro EDM is capable of machining with a 25 micron diameter wire electrode and positioning the work piece to within -1.5 microns.
